👋 Hi there!

I started JobMentors to help friends and former colleagues prepare for interviews and land roles at inspiring, competitive companies. Yet, what began as a passion project quickly grew into a mission - to support others through the job search, one of life’s most stressful experiences.

Searching for a job can be isolating, emotionally draining and full of unknowns. I wanted to build something that carried some of that weight. A space where job seekers feel supported, guided, and encouraged, not just coached, but truly backed by someone who’s been there and gets it.

Driven by word-of-mouth, JobMentors has since helped dozens of individuals at every stage of their careers - from fresh graduates looking for their first opportunity, to professionals navigating layoffs or transitions, and seasoned executives searching for a new home where they can thrive.

The common thread? Each person was talented, capable, and ready for their next chapter - they just needed someone in their corner.

Meet a JobMentor

Hi, I’m Terilyn!

Mentorship has been central to my career and professional foundation. I started my tech career at 17, gaining early insight into the full hiring process, which led me to mentor peers through my university’s business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi. Since then, I’ve mentored over 60 students and early professionals into competitive internships, new graduate roles, and internal transitions in Silicon Valley. Shaped by the mentors who guided my own marketing career, I bring a practical, structured, and empathetic approach focused on helping others gain clarity, confidence, and direction.
